The Acts 10:38 Standard
I believe this sequence of numbers is an urgent message for the body of Christ: 10:38.
I was recording a video report for my recent trip to Oregon… and as soon as I started, it was 10:38 AM.
When God Uses a Sign
When it comes to numbers, they can be a sign—and signs point to something. Signs are not meant to be our fixation, but we do recognize the sovereign and supernatural God can use items in the natural realm (like a sequence of numbers) to direct our attention.
The sign is never the destination. It points us back to the Word. And this one led me straight to a verse.
The 10:38 Standard
He led me to Acts 10:38.
“God anointed this man, Jesus of Nazareth, with the holy spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were overpowered by the devil, since God was with him.” — The Acts of the Apostles 10:38 (NTFE)
The English Standard Version puts it this way:
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” — Acts 10:38 (ESV)
All translations agree on the quantity of people who were healed: ALL.
And this was not a one-time moment. It was the pattern of Jesus’ ministry:
“And many followed him, and he healed them all.” — Matthew 12:15 (ESV)
“And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all.” — Luke 6:19 (ESV)
In this 10:38 observation is an invitation—to keep pursuing and contending for everything Scripture says is available, particularly if we have not seen it yet with our natural eyes.
“Have You Ever SEEN It?”
When we start talking about the possibility of meetings and moments where all are healed, there is some religious pushback.
“Brother Larry, have you ever SEEN a meeting where ALL got healed?”
They don’t like my answer.
“No… and yes.”
No, I haven’t seen it with my natural eyes.
But yes, I have seen it… in the Scriptures. And the Scriptures are my standard, regardless of whether my eyes have seen something or not.
If I never saw one person receive Christ and get born again, I would still believe it’s God’s will because of what the Bible says is available.
If I never saw one healing or miracle, it doesn’t matter—I still believe miracles are available for today because of what Scripture says.
Why? Because the One who healed them all has not changed.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8 (ESV)
Healing in the River: Report from oregon
The Scriptures set the standard, and then God keeps giving us glimpses of it.
In Oregon, believers from both Oregon and Washington came together at Roar NW, a powerful apostolic center and local church pastored by Jeff and Roxanne McCracken. We sensed “times of refreshing” flowing from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19–20). And there was physical healing in the River: a local pastor was healed of ALL the neuropathy in his legs and feet!
Not some of it. All of it.
That is the 10:38 standard breaking into a real body, in a real room. And I believe it is a down payment on what God wants to do up and down the West Coast and beyond.
Contending for ALL
Acts 10:38 sets a standard for what is possible and available: ALL being healed and transformed by the power of God.
So don’t lower the standard to match what you’ve seen. Raise your expectation to match what the Word says is available and accessible.
Let Scripture, not experience, define what you believe is possible.
Keep contending in prayer for what you have not yet seen with your natural eyes.
Make room for the Holy Spirit in your gatherings, your home, and your city, because the same Spirit who anointed Jesus is the One who moves among us today.
The clock said 10:38. Heaven is saying: ALL is still available.
