Exposing the Battle over this End-Times Prophecy
Interestingly, the end-times prophecy I watched come to pass this past weekend in Washington State isn't found in Daniel or Ezekiel, Matthew 24, Paul's letters to the Thessalonians, or Revelation.
It's the climactic chapter of the Old Testament — literally the last book, the last chapter, the last verses: Malachi 4:5-6. And I saw this happen before my very eyes…
Can You See the New Thing?
I believe the Lord is giving us eyes to see His unique activity right now. And I'll tell you — it demands supernatural sight to recognize rivers in the desert. Why? Because it's so easy for our vision to be consumed by the hopeless dryness of the desert, when in fact the Holy Spirit has given us the ability to see exactly what He's doing in the middle of it.
This Bible Verse Scares Me... and Excites Me. It's VITAL for us to get it.
There's a passage of Scripture that both scares me and fills me with expectation. Paul writes, "Do not quench the Spirit." More literally: don't put out the Spirit's fire. That's not merely a suggestion. It's both a warning—and an invitation. What does it actually mean to quench the Holy Spirit? And how can we make sure we don't?
